Faith Davies moved to the Isle of Wight at the age of 3 months and thanks to her mother’s fondness for moving house, lived in many locations across the island during her formative years. Faith uses her long-standing love of photography to gather swathes of source material for her art. While her natural talent in a range of artistic disciplines enables her utilize modern technology. Using a digital brush she shows interactions between the man made and natural landscapes, particularly subjects connected to the maritime environment including lighthouses, piers and harbours.
